Is it legal to buy moonshine online?
Yes! All the moonshine sold at WineToShip is produced by licensed distilleries that follow strict federal and state guidelines. While "moonshine" traditionally referred to illicitly made spirits, it is now a recognized category of commercial whiskey.
What is the difference between Moonshine and Bourbon?
Aging is the key difference. Bourbon must be aged in new charred oak barrels, which gives it a brown color and vanilla notes. Moonshine is "clear" because it is bottled straight from the still (or briefly rested), preserving the raw flavor of the corn.
How should I drink flavored moonshine?
