What does "100% de Agave" mean?
This indicates that the tequila is made entirely from Blue Weber Agave sugars without any added "mixto" (like corn or cane sugar). 100% agave tequila is higher quality, offers a truer flavor, and is generally considered to result in a "cleaner" drinking experience.
Blanco, Reposado, or Añejo: What's the difference?
It comes down to aging: Blanco is unaged and clear (citrus/pepper notes); Reposado is aged 2–12 months in oak (vanilla/honey notes); Añejo is aged 1–3 years (caramel/oak notes); and Extra Añejo is aged over 3 years for maximum complexity.
Is there really a worm in tequila?
No. High-quality tequila never contains a worm. The "worm" (gusano) is traditionally associated with certain types of Mezcal, and its presence in tequila was a marketing gimmick from decades ago that has no place in premium agave spirits.
What is the best way to sip high-end tequila?
