Pepper, resin, smoke and coffee with red fruits, mint and tobacco aromas. The entry is youthful and tight with slightly astringent tannins followed by fresh cassis, raspberry, coffee, vanilla, tobacco, cedar flavours. One of the top estates of the Cotes de Castillon owned by Stephan von Neipperg. The blend is 80/20 merlot/cabernet franc. For medium term cellaring it should be fully ready to go by 2017.
