Deep, dark, almost opaque ruby-red in color. Ripe, dark-fruit aromas on the nose are overlaid by cocoa-butter & cedar notes. Rich black-cherry flavors are overlaid by plentiful coffee, vanilla & cedar characteristics. The fruit is lifted by pretty good acidity & the mid-palate is generous. The tannins give grainy grip. Alcohol is a touch warming & the finish has good length
