The wine's deep, dark black-ruby color is not opaque, the rim seems quite developed. Ripe, dark-fruit aromas & lively red-fruit are overlaid by chocolate notes & sweet spice. Good acidity lifts the fruit nicely on the palate. Jamy dark-cherry fruit with chocolatey overtones comprise the palate, which has very fine tannins. The medium to full bodied wine is rounded out by slightly warming alcohol. The finish is long, rich & opulent with fine, supple & velvety tannins
