The wine is a deep, dark ruby-red color is not quite opaque. The restrained dark fruit aromas are ripe with raisined notes & meaty touches. The wine's acidity is soft & the alcohol adds a little warmth to the mid-weight wine. The structure is firm & the tannins close it up a little. The finish is currently a little dull, earthy and a little short
