Vineyard Location: Les Chassis à Crozes-Hermitage. The grapes are planted at a density of 6,000 vines/ha. The grapes are hand picked and then sorted in the vineyard and at the entrance to the winery. 100% destemmed. Cold maceration in temperature-controlled stainless tanks. Wild yeasts initiate fermentation. The wine ages for 10 months in French oak barrels. Production: 3,000 bottles.

Tasting notes: Ruby red with purple highlights. Red and black fruit on the nose, with notes of spicy black pepper. Supple and fresh on the palate with firm, elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish. Delicious with smoked and grilled meats and savory couscous dishes. Aging potential of five to ten years.
