Catacula Vineyard - Named for the historic Rancho Catacula, originally planted in the late 1800s; East facing hillside terraces at 1,200 to 1,400 feet in elevation; Surrounded by Madrone groves and blanketed by the morning fog; 1.71 acres, 1651 vines. 100% whole cluster pressed Sauvignon Blanc Musqué clone. The juice was fermented in a combination of approximately half stainless steel and half neutral oak barrels, using just ONE new Tonnellerie Ermitage French oak barrel. Made in a style that maintains its acidity and freshness.
