This vineyard is located on Dry Creek Road directly across the street from the winery. It is farmed by Randy Peters, who was born on the property and is named after his late mother, Pauline. It is planted in the famous Cortina soil to a Grenache Noir clone with rootstock 101-14 and Grenache clone 362 with rootstock 1103.
After harvesting at 20 Brix and utilizing a whole berry press and 100% native yeast, we barrel-fermented 100% of this wine, using 15% New Acacia wood to build a rich mid-palate and complexity. The subtle hue and aromas of ruby red grapefruit and strawberry introduce the senses to this wine. Melon, peach and strawberry juice explodes on the palate with hints of minerality, vibrant acidity, and a long mouth-watering finish.
