Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate- From the Evergreen vineyard, the 2019 Chardonnay Ancient Lakes displays a pale straw color and offers up a nose of classic aromas of white peach, yellow apple and pear with a pleasant lift of citrus blossom and hints of lemon curd in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is energetic and juicy, with a pleasing line of acidity, showing balance through the mid-palate with fresh, vibrant pomaceous and citrus flavors, ending with a lingering finish that will surely please a crowd.
