A liqueur obtained by infusion from the apricot pulp. The originai recipe goes back to 1935 when the city of Rome organized an exhibition including a competition for creating a new ltalian liqueur. Luxardo Apricot won the first price being awarded the title Liquore della Lupa the liqueur of the Roman she-wolf, now its trademark. 30% ABVCHARACTERISTICColour bronze-copper, flawless clarity.Taste entry is bittersweet, midpalate highlights ripe apricots and turns a little syrupy in the finish. Aftertaste is pleasantly sweet, woody, raisiny.Aroma first sniffs detect delicate apricot aromas, partially peel; after some minutes of aeration the profile turns gently sweet and more herbal than fruity or ripe.
