Proemio - Prologue in medieval Spanish, means prologue or first page. This is in fact the beginning of the history of the winery. In 2001, Marcelo Bocardo, a third generation winemaker and descendant of a family of Italian immigrants, founded Proemio with the aim of producing high quality wines that truly represent the passion of their ancestors for viticulture and a legacy for future generations .
